Why do periods hurt so much?!

Well, do u feel like under ur stomach it hurts.if so thats just cuz of the blood going through.my cousin once had 2 go 2 the hospital 4 that.sumtimes ull get fevers and such!but really its cuz of the blood going through and the cycle.
I used to have the worst period pains ever. Didn't matter what medication i took, whether or not i had a hot water bottle, etc. - i'd be curled up in bed in ridiculous amounts of pain. On the pill now and it's amazing :] Don't feel a thing!
Period pain varies from woman to woman. The cramps are the result of your uterus trying to expel the blood. Pain is worst for the first 2 days when bleeding is heaviest and may have clots. Best solution is to take ibuprofen as soon as period starts and take it regularly for the first 2 days. Hot water bottle is also useful
Your uterus is working hard to get ready for the next period. Since there is no baby, the lining of blood is shed and that's your period. So, yea, your uterus is working hard to get ready for the next period.

Men just dont understand do they pig ignorant!, you are just one of many of the unlucky ones to get period pains i dont get period pains but i do get all the horrible symptoms e.g sickness (nausea), headaches, few cramps ( but not bad) and horrible bleeding ( very heavy), oh boys also wen you bleed heavy and flood is you have ever wet yaself or pooed yaself you know ya it feels like add a punch in the balls you kinda got the sensation!. But what i would advise you use a hot water bottle and eat loads of chocloate. But i really feel you cant bear the pain, and the pain makin you sick must be horrible what i would advise is go and talk to your doctor. Oh and you can take ibuprofen you can take it for age 4, unless ya under that then you will be able to take it. But go and talk toy uor doctor and see what they can advise.

I used to get horrendous pain so i went to my G.P He put me on the pill (birth control) This not only stopped the pain but my period's became lighter!! Hope you find the solution.
