How long would it take to loose weight?!


Question: Well, I REALLY need to loose [[lots]] of weight. I am 14. I need to loose like 100 pounds, any tips on what kind of food to eat, light exercises, let me know anything will help! Thanks :)

foods: healthy snacks such as fruit (bananas, strawberries,grapes)

light exercises: taking a quick walk, a couple laps around jogging, bicycling, jumping on a trampoline (if you have one), recreational sports,

it depends on what you do and how much of it to when you'll lose weight.

try not to eat lots of junk food
example: if you eat..5 pieces of junk food cut it down to 4 and then so on...

Why do you need to lose 100 pounds?
Isn't that a bit drastic?

Well, anyway, I guess you could go to a gym or something.
Just sweat, a lot.
That helps you lose weight,
And watch what you eat.

I first ask is it really 100 lbs? If so it sounds like your eating habits may not be so great. I have been there and understand this. I would suggest finding a nutritionist to help with better eating, or try weight watchers. Your young so if you start eating lots of fruit and get active it will pull together.

DON"T buy into fad diets or to starving yourself, they will only make you depressed because you'll hungry and will screw up your matabolism

you should definately get involved in a sport or become a member of a YMCA. get moving! sign up for a step class, jazzercise, or yoga class. it also helps if you have a work-out buddy, because you can talk while working out! you should try to get at least an hour of physical activity in a day.

you should also try to eat 5 SMALL meals a day. but they need to be healthy meals....no ice cream, chocolate bars, or cookies. it takes 11 times to learn to like something, so now you can learn to eat healthy.....try to learn to eat something new and healthy each week.
