No, all girls have a natural scent as do guys. Make sure you are washing daily. You may cleanse in the morning and again at night if your worried. Make sure that your changing your undies too. I know that should be a not brainer but I'm just sayin.
BTW, they have famine sprays to help keep you fresh but you may also need to use light pads that you can change through out the day. You have an infection if the discharge come out in like white curd like substance (yeast infection) and you are itchy down there. Yeast infections are common to many girls and is no way anything for which you should be ashamed if that is the issue.

shower daily, and wash your womanly bits. this should (in time) get rid of any odor that is being wafted around. use some femenine wash like Summer's Eve while in the shower, and then some FDS (femenine deoderant spray) throughout the day. that should help to clear up and mask the problem.

People can smell the odor down there, but usually only if it's bad and smells fishy. Try changing your panty liners and a little more soap in the shower.
You will only smell bad if you don't wash yourself. Use a gentle soap and rinse well.
Don't use "feminine hygiene" products or any deodorants. These are not needed and can upset the natural balance of your body and so cause more smells than they hide.
