Ibs or anorexia!! Please read!?!

Question: okay a while ago i had symptons that made me believe i could have ibs, but it isn't all the time, i get it once in a while, although im constantly bloated with gas. but then i lost my appetite bigtime and had to force myself to eat, after which i felt really sick. i thought i might have anorexia because i've had a few weight issues in the past but i didnt fit the typical anorexic because i made it obvious that i wasnt eating (cos i was a bit concerned) and i havent lost weight, plus i dont exercise excessivly. then i read that ibs can lead to a lose of appetite!! so what do i have? i've told my parents that i thought i had ibs and they didn't do anything, so its pointless asking or telling them. please help!!
im 16 btw

It could also be a sensitive stomach. The fact that you want to eat, but it hurts means it's not anorexia. My stomach hurts every time I eat, but a girl's gotta eat! Modify your diet and eat foods that aren't too spicy.

well whats your weight and height, ill be able to tell you if you have that if you tell me this
well go to a concler and ask them

Try to go to a doctor or clinic to get checked out. You will have to watch what you eat. Avoid white bread, and go for whole wheat, avoid spicy foods.

Id say your best bet is to go to the Dr and see what he/she says. There seems to be a problem and you are the only one that knows how your body feels . Don't sit around hoping the answer will come to you go see a professional. A Dr will diagnose that better than anyone on this site. Plus your doctor knows you and knows how you've been the last couple years. Just go see the Dr and explain to him/her how you've been feeling and hopefully you'll get treatment and an answer.

what the heck is ibs?
