Shes not bleeding when we do it but there is a tiny bit that always ends up on my underwear lol. You'll catch her period and eventually start bleeding yourself.

Midol is good for cramps.

Good luck!

John ,If you dont really know the answer to this question , perhaps you should not be having sex

Nothing you wouldn't catch when she's NOT bleeding...or when you don't find that unsightly little spot on your underpants. Why aren't you wearing a friggin' rubber anyway?

Unless she has an infection, you shouldn't get anything. Most doctors recommend women NOT douche as it can cause infections.

no,sweetie you won't catch anything, well nothing extra to what u may have caught if you haven't used protection, or know each others sexual history

I take it you haven't had sex that's involved raising a child. It's a million times more involved. (-:

Why are you still wearing underwear when you have sex? That reminds me of a Chappelle show, where during the 'trading wives' skit one of the husbands stuck his (ya know) through the flap in his underwear while having sex because he liked it like that. (-:

u might not possibly catch anythin unless she has any infections
but try to avoid those 2 or 3 days

Unless she has an STD, you wont catch anything from a little bit of period blood, protected and unprotected. (On a period though - be sure to wear a condom, since she can still be fertile and could end up pregnant.)

Cleaning of her vulva (the outside: vaginal opening, labia minora & majora, clitoris...) would be a good thing - to cleanse away any foul smell that can happen during a period because of the build up of menstrual blood. Douching is probably not the best way to go, since it's actually unhealthy for her vagina as it gets rid of all the good healthy bacteria the vagina needs in order to stay clean. Yes, the vagina has good bacteria - it helps to clean and keeps the toxicity at the right levels.

It's perfectly safe, and healthy to have sex before, during, and at the end/after her period.
