How can I calm my anxiety from my psycho roommate...Please Help...........?!

Question: I am moving out of my apartment in a few days and my psycho roommate decided he wanted to start yelling at me for not cleaning the stove before I leave. He has psychiatric problems and I have tried to hang in here as long as I could but it's just unbearable. He is unemployed, lazy and make messes that he never cleans. I have cleaned the house everytime since we moved here. He really acts psychcotic at times, so much so, that I had to call the police twice from being woken up by him screaming obcenities by my door at 5am and throwing things around the apartment. He gets real scary when he acts like that. So, I was washing my dishes tonight and he started screaming about me cleaning the stove when he hasn't picked up a finger for anything ever. I am leaving in 4 days so I am trying to remain calm but I am afraid I am going to wake up to chaos or a disturbance. I have to get up a 5am M-F to drive a schoolbus. Any advice would be appreciated!!!!!!

Move out now. Don't wait a few days. Get a large, burly, intimidating man to help you move. Does he take anti psychotic drugs? Make sure he takes his meds --if possible. As a matter of fact, if you can find some chill pills, something strong, offer them to him so he,s knocked out. Slip him a mickey maybe. Do not minimize the danger. I don't mean to get you all paranoid but it's a dicey situation.

stay away

I think its good that you are already moving out. For now I think the best way treat those type or person is to ignore him. Do your thing and pretend that he is not their. If he makes noises just be silent don't talk back.

If you have the money pack up your things and stay at a nearby hotel/motel until you get to your new place! It sounds like he is dangerous, you need to get out of there and fast! If anything stay away as much as possible from the roommate. Go to the library, or starbucks and hang out until it's time to go to bed. Also, do you have a friend that could let you sleep over for a few days till you get to your new place? That might be a good idea too. Good luck and just ignore him, only 4 more days!
