Yasmin the "pill"?!
Question: OK so my gyn suggested I go on birth control because my period was totally out of control. I've been on it for a month and and half now and I started with Loestrin24. I like it my period came for 3 days and it was gone. I'm used to this crazy 40 day cycle with 8 days of bleeding. Now my problem is that my insurance doesn't cover Loestrin24 so my doctor switched me to Yasmin. How long will I have my period with this pill? It confused me because the colors are inverted from the Loestrin24 ones and the last 7 days are the "inactive" pills. Will I have my period for 7 DAYS?!? Help me!

When I was on Yasmin, my period didn't last 7 days. I think it was about 3 or 4. I also used it to regulate my cycle (prescribed by my gynecologist after some tests).
No you will not have your period for 7 days. You will probably have the 3 day period like you did with the other pill.
It depends on your body, you shouldn't be mad though, it's not healthy for medication to control your MC. Yasmin never changed my period, it made life easier because I was in a lot less pain.
