Does anyone use the nuvaring birth control?!
Question: I am currently on it right now and have been for the last 6 months.....last month after taking it out i got a severe migraine for 3 days and could not even been in any kind of light and just stayed in bed and took some over the counter medicine...i didnt wnat to call the doc but its happening again right now i can feel the migraine coming on...has this happen to anyone else using this? Also my sex drive is gone dont know if this is just something normal after having a baby a year ago???????

The migraines may be the hormone change when you take it out, but I would check with your doctor just to make sure that it isnt anything more serious. As for the sex drive.... mine went flat when I was using the ring. I stopped a couple of months ago and within the second week of not using it, my sex drive came back better than ever. Yours may be a combination of both the ring and the new baby. I hope this helps you.
I have used this type of birth control on and off for the last few years and haven't had any problems like this. I would check with your doctor about this. Maybe it isn't the right type of birth control for you. Have you started any other types of medications or anything else that might be causing this problem? As for the sex drive issue, it may just be due to having the baby. It is really common. You may just be more tired because of taking care of a baby and don't feel up to having sex.
