Hard lump in my breast?!
Question: I FOUND A LUMP IN MY BREAST AND STRAIGHT AWAY I WENT TO THE DOCTORS, HE CHECKED IT OUT AND SAID IT WAS A HARD LUMP NEXT TO THE NIPPLE. YOU CAN'T SEE IT BUT ITS ABOUT 1 CM BIG HE SAID, HE ALSO SAID ITS NOT A CYST, IM SO SCARED, IM AT THE BREAST CLINIC ON FRIDAY. CAN ANYONE HELP EASE MY MIND A LITTLE, IM 31 AND THERE IS SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF CANCER IN THE FAMILY.

I have been there, I did have breast cancer and gone through all the treatment.
If it is cancer don't worry you can get through it.
this could be a milk ducht in the breast that is swollen nothing to be scared of

Often, women can get fatty lumps in the breast tissue but your GP is always the best judge of the condition. I hope he has recommended an examination at a Breast Clinic. If not, ask him to do so, if only to ease your concern.
how long as it been there it might be benign try not to worry
First of all, stop worrying, if you can. I know how you feel but you should relax and whatever happens, it will be fine.
If the doctor has ruled out a cyst, it does not mean it is cancer! And even if it was cancer, there are so many types of cancer. And even if it was a bad case, there is nothing that doctors can not treat on the breast, since it is not a vital organ for the body.
