I have to agree that on such a controversial topic, you should EXPECT getting smart *ss comments. But seriously...

I think the health benefits of men using estrogen is amazingly awesome (more proof that women are genetically better than men, lol!) but is also risky. On that note, discuss the option with the doc long before you actually act on this notion.

As for guys having breasts, it depends. Is it adding to previous "man boobs"? Cause that really doesn't matter. If it's more like a lean guy with boobs, count me in! I'd really like to see that and think it could definitely be sexy to more people than just myself.

You post a question like this here on answers and you expect not to get a smart *** answer....hmmm.... I am trying my hardest...

I don't like guys with breasts.... I like guys with pecks....yummy.

um...i really dont see y u would want them

u will repel women and men will make heaos of jokes

DONT DO IT u r just setting urself up for a fall

Your crazy!!! LOL

You have your own reasons. It doesn't matter what I or others think about it. It is what you feel is right for you. I found a website that says estrogen is better for your arteries. It also Boosts Memory in Men with Prostate Cancer. There are always side effects: Look at the pros and cons and speak to your doctor about what is right for you and discuss with him/her ins/outs. Look into it thoroughly before deciding. Below are some things I found on the web that give you some pros and cons. Merry Christmas.

Rare side effects include stroke, blood-clot formation, dribbling or sudden passage of urine, loss of coordination, chest pains, leg pains, difficulty breathing, slurred speech, and vision changes. Men who receive large estrogen doses as part of the treatment for prostate cancer are at a greater risk for heart attack, phlebitis, and blood clots in the lungs.

They give estrogen for men for treatment of prostate cancer.

Researchers have found evidence that the hormone estrogen can protect blood vessels against coronary artery disease in men as well as in women.

In two separate studies, the arteries of male-to-female transsexuals taking high doses of estrogen for five years were found to have a greater ability to expand in response to changing conditions -- such as exercise -- and to medication than those of men not taking estrogen.

The transsexuals had been using the hormone to help their bodies make the transition between genders.

"There aren't too many men who take a lot of estrogen," says the senior author of one study, Dr. David Celermajer of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, "because estrogens have the well-known side effects of growing breasts, changing body shape, and causing facial hair loss -- all the things that we call 'feminizing' effects."

"But there is one group of genetic males in the community who do take high-dose estrogen, and that's male-to-female transsexuals," he says.

What do you mean breasts?
If you mean... women's breasts...
don't.
If you mean getting pectorals...
go for it.
