That isn't necessarily true, as all women are different. One thing that IS true, though, is that women have a certain number of eggs in our system. We don't "get" more. So when your eggs are done, plus the aging of your body and hormonal changes - that will determine when you hit menopause. Other factors can cause menopause to come early - such as hormone changes in your system based on illnesses, diseases, certain medications, chemotherapy, and hysterectomy surgery.
