its sooo much thinner and more comfy then a pad, but it won't stain your panties

Sounds like it. Unless you just tore your hymen. Did you do something physical that might have torn it? Riding a bike, falling out of a tree, riding a horse.... etc. counts as something physical, not just having sex.

If your periods occur every 28 days and you're on about day 14, this may be "ovulation spotting". When your ovary releases an egg, the egg must "burst" out and a small amount of blood can accompany this, ending up as ovulation spotting in your underwear.
Ovulation spotting can also occur because estrogen (hormone) levels rise and prompt you to shed just a little bit of your endometrial (uterine) lining.
