I have a fear of doctor's?!
Question: I do not have insurance yet, and wont for about another month
For some reason to, the last 2 yrs or so I have had a fear of doctor's.
I went into a doc. office last yr and had a panic attak, saw te doc for 2 secs and left. he wasnt even the doctor~ he was an assistant.
When i get my insurance i do need to go for a physical~ what can I do or something to try and at least make it in to the office wit out a panic attack?

You have to understand that none of us women enjoy going to the doctor's office. My Mother always told me, "You're not going on a date with him!" When I get my physical done my doctor talks to me during the entire thing so I don't focus on what's happening. I get pretty bad anxiety when I'm in his office and I'm on the verge of tears every time he walks through the door. My only advice is, the more you do it the better you'll get used to it. I still freak out a little when I'm in his office, but I tell myself to stop, breathe and that it'll be over faster than I think it will be. And it always is. ;)
