Queefing after having a baby?!

Question: I've queefed twice before when my husband and I were having sex. I just had my baby in September and it seems to be happening a lot. My husband is in Iraq so we haven't had sex since he was home last. Does that mean I'm loose? Is there any way that I can get control over it? I've read conflicting views that kegels help/don't help with the problem - though I've been doing them anyway since Kathryn came along. Any other suggestions? What are the worst positions that cause queefing? Any good ones to help prevent it? Or just tips to keep it from happening as much?
**Please no stupid answers. I know most women do it, I'm just curious. If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. Thanks for all the help.

You know it happens to all of us at one point or another, whether or not they will admit it or not. It happens because of the position, usually the missionay and usually because he is in a hurry, slow down. You can make a game out of trying different ways of doing things so it won't happen, don't be embarressed, he helped caused it, it is not because you are loose at all. Relax and if it happens laugh about it, it is just another part of your love making, don't let it become something you should feel ashamed of because like I said before it does happen to us all at one point or another. Good Luck

thanks

I have no idea what "queefing" is?? Never heard of it.

Edit: Oh, gotcha, yeah that has happened. I have been married to long for something like that to bother me!!

give it time things will tighten up.

down with the self appointed Yahoo Answer Nazis the jerks have no sense of humor.

You know, I don't even want to know what "queef" means. Talk to a doctor -- isn't there ANYTHING people won't talk about in a public forum anymore?

weird but there are kegel exercises, try that.

not sure about the problem, just a response to the other poster. You think answering on yahoo is gay, but your on myspace? Thats ironic don't you think? Isn't myspace for like 13 year olds?

Puppy style is the worst position, missionary is the best. Keep doing the exercises. Keep your vagina contracted during sex. All it is is the air that was pushed in during sex escaping.

It just something that happens after child birth. Avoid doggy style, its the worst!!!! Kegals do help a little.

The V is like elastic. If he's in Iraq you will have some time for it to get back into shape. Don't worry about it, don't be self conscious. He cares allot less than you think about something like that. Plus, if he's been in Iraq for a long time he won't care if that thing screams after sex. He's just gonna be happy to be getting some from you.

you get on all fours and let him lay flat of his back behind you with his legs resting on your back or out to the side ease yourself down on him and let him thrust. this seemed to work for us

from what i heard after having a baby it actually makes you tight. queefing usually happens when there is alot of air in the vagina. try having him on top it doesn't push as much air in as when your on top.

You just had a baby in September. Your body is still recovering from being stretched to maximum capacity. In time, it WILL get better. I know it's a fact of life...but it IS embarrassing, isn't it? My experiences have found that the "doggy style" position is the worst position.

Kegels are still the best way to recondition the muscles in the vaginal floor. Worked for ME!.

kegels can help, I do them all the time even though I've never had children, I like to keep myself tighter.
