Birth control question?!
Question: i am taking a new birth control pill called femcon fe
and i was wondering if anyone has taken it before and
what side effects they've had.
also i was wondering if this pill would cause u to gain/lose any weight
because ive heard some birth control pills can do those things. this is my 1st time using birth control so im just curious.

One of the most common side effects of birth control pills is weight gain, but if you think about it how much weight are you going gain if you get pregnant. NOT everyone experiences weight gain. Also if you smoke you should not take birth control pills because it can cause an hypercoagulable state and have very bad consequences like a pulmonary embolism. Another common side effects is nausea especially in first time users.

I have been on b.c. for a year and haven't gained a pound. My doctor told me that the shot b.c. is the one that puts the most weight on. I guess it depends mainly on if your dose is high or low.
First, I agree with what she said about the shot.
Second...It depends on your own chemistry on what effects you'll get from BC...You just have to find one that works for you.
It's not all birth controls does gain the weight. Depend on what doctor will tell you about gain the weight when you're taking a pills.
