The skin on the nipple is among the most sensitive on the body. Weather, fabric of your tops & bras (recently did you wear new clothes or change your laundry detergent?), kind of body cleanser used when showering etc plays a part. It is probably just localised dehydration instead of any allergy or infection, since you have no inflammation or itch. Don't use normal soap when showering, those certified for sensitive skin & pH balanced are better. After showering, keep hydrated by using superemollient moisturisers like Vaseline & also avoid moisturisers with added fragrances or other stuff that may irritate the skin & trigger dryness. Also make sure your whole body is hydrated by drinking sufficient water daily.

ASL?

skin PH, the natural yeast in your skin going buts.
If moisturizers and body wash doesn't work, make an appointment with your dermatologist. Waiting too long can make skin issues more difficult to deal with,

It could just be the cold dry weather of winter making your body do strange things. Welcome to the Wonderful World of Womanhood. Our bodies just LOVE to make us miserable.

However, since you've never had this condition before, you really should have it assessed by your doctor. While it might be nothing, it might also be an early indicator of a more serious condition.

Is the rest of your skin dry? Eat more seeds. pumpkin, sesame, sunflower etc. also go ahead and use some lotion. The seeds will add some much needed vitamin E and also amino acids. Eat about a handful or two per day and after a few weeks you will notice a difference. also they just taste great.

OMG, totally happened to me before,,, when i attempted to breast feed,, rub moistureizer on them,, bad balm is a really good one,, use something ointment based, not a creme, so it doesnt come off,, like bag balm or even petromium jelly,, works really good on chapped lips too,, it might be the detergent that u use or fabric softener ,, thses things can be tough on the sensitive skin of the bipple,, its true
