Laparoscopy 2 weeks ago, infected bellybutton?!

Question: I had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago to remove a 9cm dermoid cyst, must of been complications because they removed right ovary and fallopian tube and they burnt the other fallopian tube so no more babies for me! Anyway, all wounds have healed ok, larger scar (about 1.5inches I guess where they took cyst out) is quite hard underneath, possibly an adhesion? Bellybutton is a total mess, leaking yukky pus crap out of it all the time. I have tried leaving it alone, I have tried antiseptic very regularly and covering it up all to no avail. I went to doc today and he used silver nitrate and I am panicking because it is still leaking pus and looks even worse than before....should I go to a different doc tomorrow?

My belly button was infected too! Its gross eh? Anyhow I used some poly-sprorin and let the air at it. If its covered up it stays wet, and that doesn't help it (this sounds gross) scab or crust over. That's what I did and what my doc told me to do. He said for me not to fuss with it too much. I had my gall bladder out and the scar below my boobs was hard too. It think its because the scar is thick. They are called keloid scars. My husband asked if it was a blister or a burn mark.

yeah its best to get a second opinion

goodluck
