Where in your lower back? Is it more on one side or the other? Does it hurt anywhere in the front? Are you of childbearing years?

If it's really, really low....it's not your kidneys! I would not let abdominal pain go on very long without having it checked out. It could be something as simple as pain from your sciatic nerve (which I recently dealt with) or mild food poisoning or as severe as a ectopic pregnancy or bowel obstruction which can be very dangerous. The sciatic nerve runs down your left leg and the pain can be extreme. I was nauseated and light-headed from the pain. If it's on your lower right side (right leg) it could be appendix but you usually feel that more in the front I believe. You say you are freezing too? Take your temperature..you may have fever. If you do, go see a doctor. Also, look up NetMD on the web. I believe that's the site where you can answer questions regarding your symptoms and it will narrow down your possibilities. Gosh, I hate pain so know that I feel for ya!

Hvae you had your first period yet?

It could just be diarrhea cramps...I get them and I'll have urges to go to the bathroom but it won't come then I'll finally go...

that is EXACTLY what happens to me when iam on my period or a day or to before. eat some saltly crackers and use a heating pad

you might be about to get your period. how old are you?

it could be a kidney infection, if you feel like you need to urinate but nothing happens
Otherwise, it could be indigestion, lactose intolerance or some food allergy, or simply upset stomach because you ate something that you may not be used to (foods with lots of fiber often cause symptoms like that)
If you're sexually active, the pain could also indicate tubal pregnancy, but that would not cause the stomach pain.
My guess is that you ate something that you're not used to.
Eat light food, drink lots of fluids (but not coffee and soda), and stay warm. If the discomfort continues and you don't feel better by tomorrow, see a doctor.
