Brown discharge?!
Question: Okay, My period started last Friday, early morning. Heavy first two days, then medium... I changed tampons every 3-4 hours and everything was good, no cramps, no leaks, no badness. Yesterday, when my period would normally stop, I had a lot of brown sticky looking discharge. It wasn't the brown you get from blood that is slowing like at the end of your period. I don't have a gyno and am 14. I started my period when I was 8. I'm pretty regular. I get my period every 8 weeks. So what is this discharge... Is it a UTI? Normal?????

sounds like the last bit of shedding from the lining of your uterus..but having a period every 8 weeks isnt regular..it could be a variety of things,varying from endometriosis,your cervix,pid,or std's..call your ob and tell them your symptoms,maybe you can get an appointment earlier
well blood has iron in it and it tends to turn brown. no worries.
i'm 14 too and all i can say is its probably the end of your period. if you are unsure, maybe you should consult your mom about it or a doctor.
When you had a brown discharge. Everything is normal. You don't need to be worry about it. Make sure use the tampon and changing it more often.
Brown discharge is normal. It's just old blood being rinsed out of the cycle.
