Medication to lower sex drive?!
Question: Hi.
I dated my hubbie for a year before we got married which was a year ago.(I'm with him 2 years in total) He was so enthusiastic at first, then after we got married and started to live together, his desire seemed to be decreased.
We used to have a sex once/twice a week after we started to live together, then once in 2 weeks, and now, we don't have a sex unless I ask him to have one. Even I ask him, he would decline 99 %. Last time we had a sex was a month ago. He said he doesn't have a desire itself. We have talked about it but when it comes to talking about sex, he gets really defensive and tell me that he has never given anyone hard time because he can't get a sex, or has any of his g/f in past ever given him a hard time because he doesn't have a sex with her.
I love him but I am exhausted by this frustration. I just want to dump my sex drive than dealing with him being defensive.
Is there any med that would drop one's sex drive? Thank you in advance!

Anti Depressant pills drop sex drive. Find out if he is taking any medication....
However, him being defensive may be a whole other issue...he may be defensive towards you because he doesnt know why has lost his sex drive...seeing a counselor might be the next step. You have only been married for 2 years. Giving up so fast isnt worth it.

Instead of dumping your sex drive, have you considered dumping your husband?
Sounds like he's letting the stress of life ruin his and yours.

Most peoples sex drive drops after they get married especially once the "honey moon" period is over. However, there could be something medically wrong with him, that is also causing a lower sex drive, especially if he is having a hard time getting an erection. So, instead of finding a way to lower your sex drive, I would investigate a little more about what's going on with him.
1. Stress- Can cause it
2. High Blood Pressure- Can cause it.
3. Being Tired
4. Depression
These most leading reasons for men to not be able to get an erection. He is getting defensive because your asking for sex or maybe there is something wrong that he is not a talking to you about it. Back off a little bit about asking FOR SEX and start asking him if there is a problem.
