Is it weird...(girls?)?!

Question: That I'm 15 and have never used a tampon (only pads)?

Answers: That I'm 15 and have never used a tampon (only pads)?

its not weird. you should go with what you prefer and are comfortable with. i use tampons and they are my best friend! the thing i like about a tampon is you do not feel anything coming down vs pads you feel something and think everyone can see. its no harm in trying it and if you dont like it then at least you know you dont. if you decide to try it make sure you arent nervous and tense. just relax.

No, if that's what you prefer.

I'm nota girl but most of my friends are. It isn't weird some people use them some don't maybe you should try it and see which one you liek best?

im 20 and ive only used tampons three or four times in my life..lol.

No,that's not weird.
Just use what your comfortable with.

its not weried at all some girls are to sensivtive to use tampoon a small majority. pads are a girls best friend and there is nothing wrong with just wearing those in some cases wearing only pads are sometimes better for ya then tampoons. when tampoons you have a rare chance of getting toxic shock syndrome and with pad you donthave to worry about it. plus over sometime vagina's get to itchy for tampoons so thankfully i have pads they are a life saver!

It would be weirder if you used them only because you feared being weird. Your fine, but you might find yourself in a situation where you'll really better off with one (swimming)...so maybe you should practice...

It's totally fine....it's a personal choice. If you want to try them....then go ahead...but if you prefer pads....then don't worry about it.

No not at all! It is all about what you prefer.

Well I didnt use tampons til I was sixteen. If I could go back in time I would start using them when I twelve the very day I started my periods cause I cant believe I used pads for so many years when they are so gross compared to tampons which are so easy and so much more comfortable.

Maybe you should try cause you could prefer them! And if you dont prefer them you could just go back to the pads!

no technically not because it depends on the family you were raised with. Does your mother let you? Or is a situation that your scared or what?

im 21 and i dont know how to use tampons so you're not alone they say you only use tampons if you are not a virgin so pads work with me better anyway

no, not weird at all. i get exactly where you're comin from.

i was never taught either.
if your scared, it'll never work, you'll tense up. if you're interested in trying them, remember, practice makes perfect.
once you buy tampons, there's instructions inside so read and re-read and eventually you'll gradually become a little more comfortable.. hopefully.
good luck =)

I was also 15 when I first used tampons. I am now 45, but I remember how scared I was to try. In fact, only because all my girlfriends were heading to the beach got me to use one, I didn't want to stay home and be left out! It is so much easier, and once you begin to use them, you will probably wonder how you ever got along without them. When you are ready to try, use a junior tampon, and put a small bit of lubricant, like KY Jelly, on the tip to make it easier to insert. Take your time, relax, and don't stress. It really is easy once you get the hang of it. Good luck!

First of all, it's a personal choice. My period started when I was 9 and I used pads until I was 13. Then I discovered tampons and I'll never go back. I'm 33 now and choose to use tampons because pads gave me irritation, almost like a diaper rash. Also, don't worry about tampons affecting virginity--that's a myth. Try tampons for a cycle or two and see if you like them. If not, go back to pads. Just don't rule out an experience because you're afraid to try something new. Do what's ultimately the best for you.

Nope, many women choose to use pads. Its your body, if you like wearing pads then wear them!

i have used tampons all my life, but if you aren't comfortable with the idea of using them then maybe you shouldn't!
