Vaginal infection?!
Question: hey
i went to the toilet and had some yellow mucus and sort of brown stuff in my pants. I thought it could be my period coming so i found a tampon and put it in. When i took it out later there was this gross dark brown dirty stuff on the end. Do i have and Infection ?
i've never had my period before and i dont really want to go to a doctor.. im 13

It may be that your body is going through it's first stages of puberty, I remember I had some strange stuff going down there too that I couldn't figure out either. I doubt it's an infection unless there is some type of soap or other product used around that are that you may be allergic to. Or it may be too harsh for your body. If you're worried, talk to your mom, a sister, or somebody close that you trust.

Don't worry it's normal to get mucus just before your period & the brown stuff is just blood. Spotting with brown blood is common just before your period.
Plus if it was an infection it is more than likely to itch
