Are you alll sick of this?!

Question: Those questions that are constanttly on here like, when will i get my period, how can i make it stop, how can I not get it this weekend, why is it half a day late, why is it pink and not red, why do i have to grow up, It seems like more and more of these irritating questions are popping up and are getting very irritating to constantly see headling: PERIOD HELP PLEASE??!?!. Anyone else feel this way? Women's bodies are all different. YOU aren't DYING people! Periods are irregular. ..that's the way it is.

and the kids are out of school on Christmas vacation too. . .
You can tell by alot more of the 'silly questions'

they dont bother to read what has already been aswered in that category (100x's over) that day.

right you are

being a man, more .

people like attention.

Yes,and how about the "am I pregnant"ones.

idk, i never have had a period as i am a man. nut i also wouldn't be asking strangers help with things like that

I know how you feel.

It's like in the pregnancy and trying to conceive section, they are always asking "am i pregnant?" well, we aren't pregnancy tests!

It does get old if you are on here every day....but each person that asks wants to know. I guess our educational system just isn't filling the bill when it comes to teaching our young ladies about their bodies.

Worse than that is the "Could I be pregnant ones"..oh my gosh they drive me nutso...

Good point by the way :-)

Maybe stop reading.

If it bothers you, just don't read the questions. If you can't find anything on YA that interests you, then why would you upset yourself by looking on here every day?

YES..........I soooo agree, it's like not the end of the world! Periods take years to get into a proper cycle, and why don't they just ask their mum or a friend, Bloody Hell!

Amen.

I especially like it when the spell it "peried" or "perid" or some other crazy variation.

dont read it if your sick of it.
some people have question
get over yourself
go to a diffrent section if your irrated so easly.

(i agree with you though =] )

Yeah, but can you imagine if men had that kind of monthly situation just how childish they would sound as compared to women; who always seem to be more mature about stuff like that??? Just think about it.

we'd make good b****y friends

we'd b*** about the world

:]

yep it's annoying. i always thought that guys had it EZer than women. *shoot* GUYZ IF U'RE READING THIS KNOW HOW LUCKY U R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I am but on the other hand they may be young girls who are still unsure of how there body works and also you don't have to answer. thats all I can say

i hadnt seen too many period questions, but u kno it can be scary for a young girl who gets it for the first time and maybe this is the only was she can ask questions, because she doesnt feel comfortable talking to a parent or friend. they are just trying to learn, if you dont like the questions don't answer them. its not a big deal. u could also argue that too many ppl post pictures and ask if they are attractive. its what people do.

Well this is women's health and periods are a big part of a woman's life. I don't have any problems with people asking these kinds of questions.......just because they ask doesn't mean I have to answer them or even read them.

** It may be taught in school but did you have the nerve at that age to ask questions about your period?? I think not!!!

True but you have to understand that if they aren't knowledgable about certain things then they ask and its only proper that if we know the answer to give it to them....what if they weren't close to their mom or don't have a mom and no one taught them and they have no one else to ask but everyone on here....thats sad. While it may be irritating, they are just looking for an answer and they should at least get that here...thats what the site is for.

I know!I mean I practically keep answering and writing the same stuff over and over!!It's so annoying answering the same questions!

OMYGOD! I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY!

ahhh its sooo annoying!!!

"omygod my period is two hours late!!! im dying!!!"

"im 11 and my period hasnt shown up! will i die soon?"

its soooooo annoying! these girls have to do their freakin research before they ask those damn questions! u learn it in health class- EVERYTHING. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Nah, not especially. I mean, 90% of the questions on here could be resolved with 5 minutes of googling, and if I was going to be hacked off about the period questions I'd have to be hacked off about all those other ones too.

If you're young and haven't had very high-quality sex ed indeed, there's a lot of things you don't get taught. If it's reassuring for women to get the feeling that they are getting a specific, personal response telling them that they aren't abnormal, then I'm happy to answer the questions.

This is a site for contributing to a community of people who need help. The "Women's Health" title indicated that this is a specific place that a woman can go to talk about her womanly health problems, and seeing as how women undergo the same things through maturing- repetition is bound to happen.

Also, some girls growing up do not have people they can talk to about these sorts of things. They might not have direct ways to get to the doctor without parents knowing or even money to throw away on a pregnancy test for a period that is a week late and lighter than normal. Sometimes, the support and help from this site is comforting and the advice can calm nerves (and we all know how nerves make the mind play tricks into thinking what you don't want it to).

So if this really bothers you, find another place to get/advise help when you need it.

A lot of these questions could be resolved with webmd, a pregnancy test, common sense, or sex ed in school. These questions are getting a bit ridiculous!

Actually it makes me sad. It just shows that parents are not talking to their kids, that schools are not teaching kids about their bodies and that for some reason, women's health is still decades behind men's and continues to be "taboo."

Sure, it's sort of annoying that there are so many questions about it, but that just shows what a sorry state we're in.

While I agree with you fundamentally, this is what happens when you have (a) someone who refuses to search previous questions; (b) people on here who are younger than the posted Community Guidelines; (c) people who will humor them by ANSWERING the questions.

If you don't want to answer it, then don't. You have to understand that not everyone is bright enough to figure out how to search the internet for this information, or too immature to go to the RIGHT person for help. Anonymity has its price...and we unfortunately pay, too.

Women have more of a "tribe" mentality: When they have a problem - they want to share.

So the 29'th posting per day is not really looking for facts or advice. She's just saying she has the same concerns/problems as the others and wants to be listened to.

Also: when you are feeling miserable, it helps to know you are not alone.

Hey if it bothers you sooo much maybe you should stop coming on YA. I mean that is why there is a section for those types of questions. I mean gee lady calm down. Some girls don't have answers and alot of them really are clueless. That is why they ask. If they knew that wouldn't have to ask. I had a teacher who once told me, There is no such thing as a stupid question. Those are words to live by. But hey like I said if it bothers you sooooo much, you can always not log in to YA. Besides if it weren't for all those questions there would be no top contirbuters or points. That is why I responded to your dumb question, because your stupid question is once again another repeat. But hey thanks for the 2 points so I can continue being a top contirbuter for answering all the stupid little repeated questions.

Someone is PMSing
