Answers: 1 being hardly any pain, 10 being extruciating.

10+.......10+......10+.....10....unimagi... PAIN...except ....keep in mind just HOW many women do it 5 and 6 times over.....we are SUCH the stronger species...LOL!!! All I can say is as soon as you get your beautiful bundle.....nuttin else matters!

10

11

25

id say 8, i can handle a lot of pain hehe

20

it differs from five to 9

I'd say a 9, but you forget how painful it really is. That's why we have more kids :)

I can't give it a 10 because I had kidney stones once and I'd have to put that at the top of the pain scale. I wanted to die.

I had three children, all without any pain medication when they were born. I was so happy to have them, the pain didn't really matter, even though it was a 10.

err..i'll sai 100%..dat is 10 scale!

I would scale it at 1 when the labor pains & contractions begins and goes up to 8 at the time of delivery. Keeping in mind that 10 would be = to the pain of death.

However with the new technology you don't have to have this level of pain. Please ask your doctor about Epidural. With Epidural your pain level will remain at level 2 at the time of birth which would be at 8 otherwise.

20 then for with my first child after I delivered my pain went from a 20 to a 25! No joke. It is so worth it when you hold that bundle of joy for the first time ever.

about 7 or 8. depends on the woman. but as these ladies have said you soon forget about it.

It's a pain roller coaster really! When I had my son I was bound and determined not to have an epidural. So I went for several hours of labor (induced with pitocin - which tends to make it more painful) with nothing and then decided to go with an injection which helped alot! Then, once that started to wear off I think that it was like an 8 or 9 so I got another injection and somehow that made it even worse and I ended up with an epidural.

I think it's more mentally painful than physically painful for the most part. I had like 5 people there until the epidural (I delivered within minutes of getting it!) and I think that helped me keep my mind off the pain for the most part. Really explore all of your natural pain management options tho! I was disappointed because I wanted to do more of this but wasn't able to - when you're induced you have to stay hooked up to machines AND the nurses blew out all the veins in my arm nearest the machines so I was a tangled mess of wires and cords.
