Really light period, should i use a tampon?!
Question: ok, so my period is extremely light. this morning i thought it was done completely, and a little bit of blood came out during school, so i put a tampon in at like, 8:00 or so in the morning. i just took it out at 6:00 (i know its a bit long, i don't usually leave it in that long) and it was mostly white with a little brown and barely any blood. i'm going to play volleyball and i don't know if i should put a tampon in just in case or not. =( should i just not wear one and then bring one just in case, if i feel like i'm getting it put one in? but if that happens, it will still be light, and therefore will be painful to take out. i've heard taking one out in the bathtub makes it come out easier? is this true?

just use a "light" tampon and bring a couple extra just in case.

its really bad when you use a tampon when you arent bleeding so much. i say instead you should use a pad. or if you really want to do take a tampon just in case. just dint stick it in until its needed.
Use a panty liner. I really wouldn't use a tampon unless you're going swimming, or doing something else extremely athletic.
Its risky to use a tampon for a light period. Stick with pads- "Always" is so thin and you barely notice that its there. Better to be safe then sorry!
