Talk to her about it. There are heterosexual men who have a panty fetish nothing to worry about everyone has their 'thing'. I dont have experiance w/ panties but my husband sometimes wears pantyhose when hunting-nylon is warm
As for the panties if you are not able to get into them now what makes you think you will later on. As to the pantyhose they are warm as all get out. We have used them in the service a few times. I used to tell the men bring along some of what wife's hose when we were on field ops. It would not be long and we would be taken things off, the thermals help a lot but a set of hose then thermals was enough for sure.
Just ask her if you can try them out make a game out of it she might find it fun and the two of you can have some fun.
