yes, you should tell your Mom. Anything that is out of ordinary should be checked out by a doctor.

It could be a sign of many things, pregnancy (assuming your sexually active) or you could have an infection. I have heard of women have yeast infections in their nipples, I would deffinately let your mother know, you want to see a doctor incase it is something serious.
