Help Please!! Tampon Question?!

Question: I've always had really messed up periods, I use tampons and pads because it can get really heavy. I know this is kinda gross, but somtimes I get clots. Well today it looked like somthing was in it. Anyways I looked and it looks kind of like pieces of tampon. Is it possible that I left a tampon in and it started to disinigrate?

Tampons usually leave behind fibers in the vagina, but they will come down naturally. I don't think you left a tampon in there too long, It was probably just the fibers. If you're worried, I recommend switching to a DivaCup - they're great for heavy periods because they never leak. Best of luck!

possibly. you should get pads for heavy periods. i actually find night pads better.

yes its possible and dangerous. you probably need to see a doctor. it can also just be a whit discharge. go to a gyno and get a check up then tell them you want to be put on birth control to regulate your period and help make it lighter

Very unlikely. Most likely the tissue from your uterine lining. It happens to me now and then. If it were a tampon you're know because you're most likely get TSS.

I'm pretty sure you'd know if you'd left a tampon in. If you left a tampon in for any length of time it would either 1) work it's way down until you'd feel it and remove it or 2) get an infection. What you're seeing is probably just the uterine lining that sloughs off during menstruation.

i doubt it, never done that before, but i know if you left a tampon it would stink, so you would know about it. As for the clots and messed up periods, it's normal. I started 13 years ago, and they are still messed up with clots. None of it is gross, just life.
If it is not sorted by the next couple of days, get it checked out.

this may be. but if it's white couldn't it be left over toilet paper... just a think to consider.... but if you are really worried you should go talk to your doctor good luck

It is possible you have a piece of tampon stuck in you....you should definitly go to the doctor...you can get TSS from Tampons and it can get very serious.

I have heavy period and I wear overnight pads most of my period....I think that way is better
