im 13 too and i started mine just on october 23, 2007. first, I have this really bad cramp then the next day when I look at my underwear there's this nasty brown discharge like period but it's not period then after 19 days, my period came... and that's all the sign! I hope this works for you!
Sorry, there is no correct answer for this. First periods are different for everyone, but if you want to know what to expect for YOURS, your mom is really the only person who could tell you.

Sorry, your period could come tomorrow, in a month or even a year. Periods are just so crazy that that. Its too hard to tell. sorry!
