My doctor put my on the Pill because my cramps were so bad. I was having the same problems - puking, fainting, unable to function normally for several days every few weeks. It was awful. But now I barely have any, so I would recommend talking to him/her.

Also, try taking Ibuprofen several days before your period starts. It sounds weird, especially since you won't have any pain at that time, but it works. My doctor suggested it and it's something I always try to remember to do.

some thing is VERY wrong ~~get to a Doctor.

Banana's are good for period pain, so try that.
Also if you have a heating pad place it on your abdomen/lower stomach area. If you don't have then just lie down and place a pillow underneath your stomach.

I hope you get better hun and good luck!

Btw, I don't think you need to see a doctor, although I don't vomit, most of my friends go through everything you mentioned while their on their period! =]
& I take tylenol or motrin.

take midol, they have it at walmart and picknsave and wallgreens, it gets rid of my cramps, and i have really bad ones too! and if you get your know when your getting your period, then you can take it a day ahead of time and it will stop the cramps before you even get them, good luck, hope i helped!

This could be endometriosis. www.endometriosis.org/endometriosis.html

Even though you don't want to go to the doctor, that might be the best thing for you to do.

I agree with the heating pad idea, that will help ease the cramps. Also, curling up into a ball on your bed will help with cramps.

If you like bannaas EAT them them help sooo much and if you can go to the store and get midol it really helps relax he mucles. Also take a hot water bottle and put it there and try to relax because worrying about it will make it worse.
good luck =]

Not sure if you're a coffee drinker....if so switch to decaf and limit your sugar chocolate intake. These both can attribute to major cramping. If that doesn't help then I agree you should seek medical help.

If you are experiencing symptoms of menstrual cramps, it's important to see your doctor to be properly diagnosed.

Although certain natural remedies show some promise, there hasn't been enough research at this point to conclude they're effective. Here are some of the more popular natural remedies for menstrual cramps.

- Magnesium
- Acupressure
- Omega-3 Fatty Acids
- Low-fat diet
- Vitamin E
- Vitamin B1
- Heat (such as a heat pack, warm bath/shower)
- Aromatherapy
- Massage
- Calcium
- Chiropractic
- Exercise

I would recommend that if painful cramps during your period is so bad that it interferes with your daily activities or causes you to miss work/school because of it, that you definitely see your doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation as painful periods can sometimes be caused by conditions such as endometriosis which can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle). Other causes can include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease and sometimes a narrowing of the cervix.

Hope this helps. Good luck :)
