Why is it gross for women to have hairy legs or arm pits, but not men?!

Question: when did this culture decide women had to shave?

Answers: when did this culture decide women had to shave?

i don't get it either. i don't shave and i can't imagine cutting off parts of my body. it's not gross, its just our cultures perception...and perceptions tend to change. perhaps one day it will be more accepted.

the most important thing is that you accept yourself, and it seams that others tend to overlook the differences. funny how life is. when we accept ourselves, so do our peers.

because that make women seem manly, and then it is just strange...

well its a gross feeling when u feel ur legs are hairy dont u think soo

I don't know when culture decided this, but I believe it's because women are supposed to be sexy and silky, and one way for that to happen is for women to shave their legs and underarms.

A long time ago. Sucks, but hey, you're better off.

alright u r stupid. there is no like governing board that decides this, it is just personal opinion. oh y do people like french fries with salt on them..?? i dont know because it tastes good. y do guys like woman without hair all over them?? i dont know because it looks good... idiot

Well it's up to the women. and most women (including me) feel gross with hairy legs/armpits so shave!! and men prefer it!

when did it decide that only women should have boobs? Its just natural thats y.

Cause women are the ones to be sought after, the guy comes to the girl, he brings the car, the flowers, and he pays.
She needs to look beautiful, well groomed, and tidy. If she can't do those basic principles of being a woman, she is not worth it, she will not be sought after, and she will be lonely.

Why would a girl even want to be hairy? Most girls freak out and get rid of all hair expect for that on their head, which is a woman's glory and nuance.

I wasn't consulted that I need to maintain a six pack and toned arms either. God didn't ask for my imput about putting boobs on a girl, but you don't see me complaining--it's all good.
