My friend said she hasn't had a period in two years?!

I don't think this is normal unless she's gone through menopause, or is taking birth control pills and skipping the placebo pills, or has an eating disorder or other illness. Those are the only reasons I can think of to explain not having a period.

Aren't periods supposed to come once a month unles you're pregnant or past menopause?
Depending on her age she could be starting to go thru menopause but I would recommend that she see her doctor for further evaluation to see if something else could be going on such as a hormone imbalance.
