No one besides your ob/gyn can give you a definite answer on this one. You could be suffering from endometriosis, it could be hormonal, a curable std (if steps are immediately taken), etc. I'm 29 and my oldest, best friend is as well. She has been suffering from the same thing as you, but in her case, since we were about 20.
She has been married for over 3 years now and her husband and her have really been wanting a baby. Fertility has been a scary thing for her. Her doctors couldn't find a physical explanation for her cessation of periods...nor could they seem to find a cure. However, some amazing fertility doctors exist out there....and she saw one....and what do you know....she is now 2 months pregnant. Pretty exciting! :)
Regardless, you just need to see your doctor....and not to scare you, but as soon as possible. You never wanna mess around when it comes to fertility or your health. Make sure it isn't something you need to take steps to correct before it is out of your control. Good luck sweetie. :)

some people are just different, i have a good period every 28-30 days and my friend has one every 2 months if lucky, a lot of it also can depend on diet and excersize to i think,
