Been treated twice for uti?!

Question: I was treated at the end of october for a Uti and they gave me bactrim It got better and I thought is was going away but then a little later I noticed it hadn't gone away so at the end of november I went to the doctor and told them about it so i was right i did still have a uti so they gave me septra and the same thing happened again. I feel embarrassed to tell my parents and the doctor. But i want it to go away. Are there any other treatments for UTI's

Oh and it is not an STD I know that for sure because I got tested and after I got tested I have not had sex

Sweety how much water are you drinking? And also are you holding yor pee when you really gotta go? I've been there and done that and my worst mistake is I'm bad with taking meds. I would take them until I felt like the UTI was gone and then quit so I hope you're better than me. Cranberry juice and plenty of water are good for it too.But don't be embarassed to tell someone about it , that discomfort is a real beast.

drink penty of water plenty ,,, also you can buy the cranberry pills and take it helps a lot push the water Report It

  • drink lots of fluids....especially cranberry juice would be good for that. I would refrain from having sex until it clears up because that could be contributing to your problem. I wouldn't be embarrassed to tell your parents sometimes uti's can be common and frequent.
