Slight vaginal itching after sex?!

Question: okay, so everytime my boyfriend and i have sex, it itches the next day, a little bit on my clit, and a little bit right around the edges of the opening. i wash with summer's eve and that helps a little, and by the end of the next day, it's pretty much gone. but then we have sex again, and it starts all over again. we've only had sex a few times so far, could it just be that the skin is stretching and healing?

oh, & please dont say "go to the doctor" or "see your physician" because, i don't have health insurance! thanks.

Okay, I get this too. My doctor has said it is from not being "wet" enough. I feel like I am, but he says to always use a good lubricant. I would not suggest taking a bath. Taking lots of baths can cause yeast infections which will only make the situation worse. So yeah just use a good lube, and try not to scrub in the shower too hard, b/c that will irritate it more. I found a really good lube called "Platinum". You can find it in a sex shop or probably even online. (but I would suggest always using protection, you can find condoms that are like hypoallergenic.)

you can buy something over the counter for that Report It

  • are u using protection? it sound kind of like an allergy... either 2 latex if your using condoms or to sperm if your not.try not using perfumed products there it might make it worse if its an infection.try cortisol (polysporin)

you have an std. go buy somthing to fix it.

pure one cup of vinegar in to the tub and sit in it and wash for 5minute every 3days.

If you arn't using protection, and don't have insurance then how do you know its not an STD??

Is this your first time having sex in general. Usually it can get a lil irritated or swollen just from the penetration, espically if he tend to do it rough, and espically if this is the first person you have slept with. I wouln't worry about it since it only last til the next day, but if it gets worse then you should take a trip to the ER , just cause you don't have insurance doesn't mean you should take care of yourself. There are also places that will talke care of your for free, like free clinics for those who dont have insurance. Good Luck !
