Breast Implants?!

Question: Before I ask this, if you're going to tell me not to get them - don't bother. My mind is made up. I know God made me the way I am for a reason and that I shouldn't alter it, I know the cons of breast implants (inability to nurse, etc), I know all of it. My mind is made up, if those near me couldn't alter my decision I doubt a stranger off the internet would be able to.

That said. I have researched many payment ideas and it see,s as though the average cost of the procedure is around 4-5 thousand dollars. This, it says, is not including the anesthetics, room, etc. Does anyone know how much the average cost of breast implants including those other necessities? If you have them, how much did you pay?

Also, any good doctors in the Chicago land area? I have a pretty good idea of who I'll be seeing, but maybe you know someone who I overlooked!

first off please don't let these opinionated people here make you mad.
second, anesthesia is normally 1800-3000. It depends. I do not know any surgeons in your area- I am in FL. I will recommend that the doctors you visit you check their medical license and make sure they are certified PLASTIC surgeons, not just an MD acting as a surgeon. then see a few of them and ask for references, if they won;t give you any then LEAVE!! when you talk to the references make sure it is someone who has had a similar procedure. Look at a lot of before and afters. I know some women who had bad work done, either not done right and one had a leak. You can do what you want with your body just don't pick any doctor based on price, remember it may be a minor surgery but it is still surgery.
Good luck and enjoy the new girls when u get them :-)

By all means. Think about it as an investment, and free drinks for life... NOT!

do u kno that u gotta change them like every 10 yrs

don't do it you could die.

pce ??

well once u get them most of the time u have to get them fixed every often so its REALLY expensive

one thing it is your body so you can do anything you'd want to do with it really. good luck.

P.S.

To your later comments, if you know exactly what you want then search for it yourself elsewhere, you needn't post it on yahoo answer where everyone is entitled to their own opinion on any question, and certainly you can do nothing about that.

wow this is awkward. Don't get them. God made you how you are. I also believe there is a higher risk of breast cancer. one more thing. giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity giggity

I'm not gonna tell you not to get them...I'm just gonna tell you I think there a turn off. They are gross in my opinion and false advertising. They dont loook natural at all..

It depends on how long you are in the A. Room. They wil add it to your bill. If you are already going to pay $4,000-$5,000 dollars for them I wouldn't be so worried about the other cost.

sorry I have no idea if any think I need a breast reduction but have never considered it and would not waist my money it is sad we are never happy with how we look.

look i can tell right now exactly what kind of person u r, big boobs arent what they're cracked up to be, no lie, i was a 34d when i was in 7th grade........guys like u only for them which ISNT A GOOD THING dont get them, it hurts to run, they give u horrible back problems and those with them are branded as easy and as sl**ts and wh*res, and are thought of as prostitutes if u want to be known as that for the rest of ur life u do that, cuz chances are, ur already a sl*t and a wh*re

I cannot resist sending you caution. Whom ever you choose to do the implants, ask if he and his staff are cpr certified and will they resusitate if something goes wrong as opposed to waiting for the emergency response team to arrive.

Working in a level one trauma center I have seen some cosmetic surgery cases where the doctors do the proceedures in their office and have no resusitation equipment nor do they attempt it, they just call for an ambulance. My worst memory was a 27 year old mother of a 2 year old who was given the wrong pain medication after the proceedure was complete and she did not make it.

Ask for referrences and follow up.

okay - i'm not going to reprimand you for your decision. it's your body, do with it what you will. if it'll help you to boost your confidence and help you to appreciate your body image a bit more, then why not get them?

SO! the average cost of getting breast implants, taking into account the anesthesia and room (which you probably wont get because it's an out-patient procedure), will come roughly anywhere between $3,000-$10,000. and! i will have you know that if you get the implants inserted underneath the pectoral muscles, it will not stop you from breast feeding when you have a child - if you get the implants above the muscle directly underneath the breast tissue, then you wont be able to because all of the tissue and glands milk ducts and what not, are severed. make sure you schedule appointments with the doctor to go over your options of anesthesia, and pain medication that will be given post-op. and also schedule post-op check-ups. those are crucial and NECESSARY in the healing process!!!!

as for good doctors in the chicago area - that i cannot help you with since i currently live overseas. however, here is a web link that contains plastic surgeons in the chicago area (you might have to go out of state though). anywho - have a look over, give each a call - and possibly have a consulation with a few to get an idea of which on would be best for you.

EDIT - honey, just ignore that allie girl. getting implants doesn't brand you a wh.ore, a slu.t or even a prostitute. i'm pretty sure she wouldn't dare say the same thing if her mother decided to get them.

Suppose you haven't looked at some of the deformities with fake boobs on porn sites. It's not a turn on.

At 5'5" , bet you look just fine as a B cup, might want to try some of those breast enlargement pills, lot cheaper, some possiblitiy they could work and you're not out much if they don't.
