My periods were always very irregular. I learnt over time to watch for other changes in my body that came just before my period would start. Some women get tender breasts others get real hungry just before. You need to write down how you were feeling (emotional & physical) just before your period and see if there is a pattern.
As for a bra go to a store that specializes in bras. Sophies in Toronto on the Danfore is good. I take a 38 DD so proper fit and confort are very important. Most places like the Bay & Wal-mart do not have properly trained staff. About 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. That is the real reason women hate bras.
it can take more than a year for your period to regulate. i've had mine for about that long and its still screwy. if you are concerned that it has been to long, ask your doctor. he or she should have some good ideas. also, the way a bra fits is different on everyone. my suggestion is to go to a few stores, try on many bras, and pick the fit that feels right! good luck and happy holidays!
I had irregular periods before I was on birth control. My doctor told me to keep a little diary for a while of when I start and stop to see if there was any pattern to it. You should bleed every 28th day by normal standards, but that doesn't mean you'll be exactly like that. Plus, it's normal to be a day or two off in either direction.

It will take a while, when you get your period come. It will take a year for your period to regulate. As far you concern bra. Goes to Wal-Mart Super Center, you will find lot of bra. Just look around what ever you'll need to get? There have all kind of bra and good price. I used wear 34B, right now, I'm 36C. They will help you to find a bra for you.
