if you are ready to go in to labor they say that castor oil 2 ounces and 2 tablespoons of bakingsoda mix with 8 ounces of orange juice and then drink while it is foaming then if your ready you should go in to labor within about 2 to 3 hrs i did, but it also helps if you walk to after you do drink it. my doctor told me this and i did it 4 times with all 4 kids

thats horrible, you should be taking responsibility for your actions not trying to forget about it. You are killing an inocent child.

Have sex, lots of it,it helps. Usually some doctors will tell you that.

Honestly, all you may get is diarrhea! It is an old wives tale, as far as I know it doesn't really work! The last six weeks of pregnancy is always the worst! Trust me when your little one gets her it will be worth the wait. So relax, get some sleep while you can :0) I have a 8 week old baby girl so I know what you are feeling! Good Luck!

Castor oil is an old tale...it only causes you to be on the toilet in at least two ways. It can harm the child. I suggest using another form of inducing labor such as sex, and other inducing excerices that either your doctor can reccommend or that you can find online. Castor oil probably isnt the best idea though.

You should not be trying to induce labor on your own. 1 tsp of castor oil will not hurt you or cause you to go into labor. You need to talk to your doctor. Be careful, if you keep trying things you could end up doing something that could hurt your baby. You would not like to have to worry about that for the rest of your life.
