Is it normal for a girl to have a milky substance coming from Virgina?!

Question: I HAVE A MILKY THING BUT I DID NOT HAVE SEX

Answers: I HAVE A MILKY THING BUT I DID NOT HAVE SEX

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. It means your hormones are working. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

It could be discharge or you could have an infection...Sorry if this doesn't really help..

Yes it is normal. It could be a vaginal discharge because you are ovulating or about to or just finished your period. It is completely normal and nothing to worry about!

Very normal!

you could just be horny, or it could just be normal secretions. . . .i've seen some weird stuff come out of chicks. . . .ha ha ha. gross

Well, I have a chocolate thing that comes from West Virginia and I did have sex.

Yes , when you become a teen or begin puberty changes what you are having is called discharge. It is natural lubrication to your vagina. It should be white. If you have had sex and it changes color to yellowish or chunky or have an un usual odor then you could possibly have gotten an infection so when you do have sex , have safe sex.

You mean VAGINA? OR you moved from VIRGINA?

If Vagina it very well could be you are horny.

If it doesn't burn then you are fine. Sounds normal.

Hahahaha, Virgina.
But yes, it is normal.

our state of Virginia was named for the "virgin queen" queen Elizabeth the first, who never married and so was assumed to be a virgin.

yea its just a vaginal discharge

Well its hard to tell by the vague descrption you give, but it could be just normal discharge or could be a yeast infection. If you are not sexually active then STD would not be a worry.

Glands inside your vagina and cervix make small amounts of fluid. This fluid flows out of the vagina each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the vagina. This is your body's way of keeping your vagina healthy and clean. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad.

The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when you're sexually excited.

Changes that may signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning in or around your vagina. This is called vaginitis. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not having your period could also be a sign of a problem. Some other types of infections such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can also cause discharge that is usually accompanied by odor such as beer/yeast/fish.

I would recommend that if you have any of these signs or any concerns regarding this you consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and for proper treatment should you have anything other than just a normal vaginal discharge.

Good luck :)
