Thought i was preg but i got my period...please help?!


Question: I took 2 tests, both said poitive a few days ago, i was feeling all the symptoms of preg i heard about, nausea, nipples being sore (and it has nothing to do with period because theyve neve5r hurt like that before), my sight has been getting worse which i heard is a sign as well, and my temp went up tp the point where my hubby thought i had a fever but i didnt and didnt even feel anything bad, just...strange.

but this morning to my horror i found that i was having my period...and my heart is breaking...im so scared that the tests lied or something and my huby and i were excited for nothing...please help...im so upset now i dont even know what to think...has anyone ever had this peroiod thing happen while they were preg? (ps- the testss i took were 2 e.p.t's. i cant get to a doc till after christmas)

Rest assured, you can definitely get your period while being pregnant.

If you had all those symptoms, then chances are you do indeed have a little bun in the oven. There's a small chance that your hormones could be out-of-whack and causing those symptoms, but if you have been trying to get pregnant (and are not on birth control) then it is a very small possibility.

If you're really wondering, then wait 'till after Christmas to go to your doctor and have him/her give you a blood test. The hormones released during pregnancy show up much better in your blood than in your pee, so it will give you a definitive answer.
