Question: Okay, so I didn`t have my period yet. And I`m like afraid. I don`t know that much because I don`t have THAT health class.
So when do you usaully get it the first time??? And how long does it go on and when do you stop bleeding!??? PLease answer when I said, " When do you usaully get it the FIRST time" ?

Only your body knows that stuff. It is different for every girl. If you still don't have one at 18 then see a doctor. Up until then you are fine. For the ones saying it doesn't start until you are 10 or 11 then you are wrong. Some girls can start as early as 6! I was a month into being 8 when I started mine.

there is no set age but its when you hit puberty. it can vary from age 12 - 14 dependeing on your genetics.

It depends on the time. you usually get it between 11 and 17. It usually lasts one week. thats it. just be prepared. If you want additionatl help there is a book you can buy from american girl. Its called the care and keeping of you (i think) really informal
You should get your period by age 16. If you don't have it by then, go see your doctor. Thin girls tend to get theirs later, since your body has to have a certain percentage of fat in order for you to get your period. (That's not a good reason to overeat, though!) It seems like most girls get it when they're 10-15, with the average age being 12.

um...happens approx. every 28 days, can last for 2-6ish days, might be just light bleeding (although, its not actually blood, theres some blood, but mainly the tissue lining of the uterus) and then it just stops....
ok i did the same thing! i thought i no i might not get it! but then i got it! i was 11 1/2. but some girls start when they are 13! and so on! you will start when your body is ready! you uslully bleed for a week. trust me when you get it it will be just fine! i went through the same thing you did!

SHlT THIS ALWAY HAPPENS TO ME! oh well i guess that this is just about the only bad thing about having girl contacts... i always read questions about peroids... :(
