Bleeding after sex?!

Question: I had sex with a guy and the next there were spots of blood on my underwear (this was NOT my first time). Is this anything to be concerned about?

Probably not. Sometimes a little spotting is normal (depending on what you did). If it continues and you are on birth control pills you might need to change to a different brand. If you did have unusual pain with it (which would be a sign of inflamation) go see your doc. You might need some antibiotics. Always get your yearly PAP tests to make sure that things are all good down there.

um...thaz ne happened 2 me

maybe your about to start your period

If you were about to start your period when you had sex, or had just ended your period, then sex could have simply caused a little more blood to come out.

thats aids

It depends. If you are still on the younger side, no, your body isnt fully ready for sex. if you are older<above 18> then i am not sure

Go to your GP, don't ask here

hello, its called a period! lol

As the others said, if your about to start or stop, it could cause more blood to come out. Just ask your doc just in case.

i think thats wat happens when he to big for u.

It could be a tear in the wall of the vulva; this happens when the sex is a little too rough and I actually saw it happen in front of my eyes. Nothing to worry about unless your boyfriend has an STD. Still, you should check with a gynecologist to make sure.

He must have been fairly large in size or a little rough with you. He has torn your skin within. Can be a little tricky to heal, especially if you hit it again shortly after. Give it sometime to heal. I suggest t i t, hand or blow jobs for now. Don't take it up the ****, even if he tells you it will feel good.(it doesn't)

i thnk he streched u out a lil

might just be an unsolvable mystery!

popped your cherry

Bleeding during or after sex is not considered normal and therefore should be evaluated at all times. The only time bleeding during or after sex is considered normal in some cases is if you are having sexual intercourse for the first time.

Some causes of vaginal bleeding after sex, such as vaginal dryness after menopause or in some cases by the use of certain types of birth control pills are not serious and may be easily treated.

However, in some cases, vaginal bleeding after sex can be a sign of a serious underlying problem, including:

* Inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis).
* Sexually transmitted diseases, such as chlamydia or gonorrhea.
* Cervical polyps.
* Cervical ectropion, a condition in which the cervical tissue is more susceptible to abrasion.
* Endometriosis or ovarian cysts.
* Pelvic inflammatory disease.
* Uterine fibroids.
* Cancer of the cervix, uterus or vagina.

If you continue to experience bleeding during or after sex, I would recommend that you consult with your doctor/gynaecologist to see what they think could be causing this.

Good luck :)
