When do periods usually start on Yasmin?!
Question: I've just starting using Yasmin this month as a birth control. I have finished the active tablets, and am now on the second reminder pill. I am just wonder how long it usually takes for your period to start during the week of the reminder pills (is it even possible for it to start on the last reminder pill day?). I am just slightly worried because I've had unprotected sex a few times the past month, although I know the directions say I am protected starting the first day (I did a first day start), I have read that it is best to wait until the second pack to have unprotected sex...guess its too late now. Just wondering when my period will start so I can stop worrying. Thanks!

It doesn't take a month for the pill's effectiveness to kick in. Yes, your period might not come till the end of the placebo pills, or you could skip it altogether this month. Your body takes up to three months to get used to the hormones, so your period may be irregular at first. When I was on Yasmin, I usually got my period on the fourth day after finishing with the active pills.
If you're worried about pregnancy, wait another week, then take a home pregnancy test. You'll probably be fine. Good luck!
it usually took me 3 or 4 days of the reminder pill to start my period. i stopped taking brith control all together in aug and i still havent had a period. i thought yasmin was suppose to be all natural
