Will a laproscopy vaginal hysterectomy ruin my tummy tuck I had done 2 years ago!
Question: It shouldn't do as the laparascopic wounds are very small. There shouldn't be any damage to your abdominal muscles.
A vaginal hysterectomy is carried out primarily through the vagina but a laparoscope is also used to assist. It allows the surgeon to visualise the pelvic organs, and it also allows fine instruments to be passed for cutting, taking biopsies etc.
Good luck with your surgery, hope you are soon on the mend.

I don't think this is the right terminology for the surgery you're considering. A 'laproscopy' involves entering through the abdomen where as a 'vaginal hysterectomy' involves entering through the vagina. I wouldn't have thought a hysterectomy would involve both of these procedures. It's probably best to speak to your consultant for more information involving the different surgeries available. You'll get the best answer from them.
No, it won't ruin it at all.
think you need to look at the op again, are you sure that's the right tittle?maybe its a hysterectomy by vaginal suction???
