Bad sensation in my shoulder joint!?!

Question: my upper shoulder gets really achy, and an uncomfortable sensation in the "joint" that connects the right shoulder to the arm. I think it's called the rotor cup - well can I get arthiritis in there or is this something else? There is also a slight aching in the collar bone, the part closest to the shoulder... please help. (i'm 26, female).

You should try to rest your shoulder and apply some medications like pain killers to that joint. You can use acetaminophen to relieve the pain. If you have history of injury to that shoulder you should consult with a doctor immediately. If you feel more pain and it become hotter you should also consult with doctors. I think this may be due to muscle sprain. You may life something heavy with that hand.

There are a lot of questions here, and lots of possible answers. The only way to know for sure what's going on is to see a doctor. Start with your own doctor.
If what she says doesn't make sense to you, or if you just want to, ask her for a referral to an orthopedic surgeon.
Request an MRI (x-rays cannot see damage in soft tissue) if your x-rays show nothing significant.
26 year olds don't usually have these kinds of symptoms with arthritis unless they are athletes or have had a significant injury.
But, talk to you doctor. She'll know for sure where to start.
Good luck.
