Women, periods,anger, i have a question?!

Question: I went hiking with a friend and two others, my friend had her period, we were walking and joking around, i made a joke and she just about snapped my head off, several times, and believe me any other time other than having her periods she would have been fine with the jokes, i really feel she should apoligise to me for her rude behaivior, but she hasn't, do you think i deserve one or should i be like,ok don't worry about it, she made me feel as if i don't want to go anywhere with her again. unfortunatly my nature tells me never to go out walking with her again.

i am going to tell you what my husband said to me when i did that to him
"honey, i understand that because of your period you are extra cranky but you have control of your emotions in the long run and please do not take it out on me I do not appreciate it"
you know he was right, now when i feel like snapping at him for no reason during my period i just take a deep breath and remind myself that it is just my hormones

so maybe you could say something similar to that to her and maybe she will realize what she did and apologize, because honestly sometimes we don't even realize that we are being so cranky until someone points it out

she was having mood swings. happens a lot when us women are on our ANNOYING as helll periods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

send her lots of chocolate and an unsigned Im sorry card she can send you

yes you are right! she is wrong and yes a lot of women is very anger problem during when they have period... she should said sorry to you.....

happy holidays!

I'm a b!tch 24/7.

You don't deserve one...It's just her. Girls are really moody during that time so just be careful what you say

hate to say it, but no....she doesnt owe you an apology. sometimes, our mood swings just happen. im sure she didnt mean to bite your head off, just be aware for next month: this time, next month: dont hike (she was probably tired out) and joke at her, haha.
good luck!

its ok
just shrug it off
we cant help it
periods get really
f****** annoying

maybe she was
having a particulary
bad day she couldve
had cramps or mood swings

she shouldnt have to appoligize UR the one say that made a joke...FYI u shouldnt say things that might be taken the wrong way when a women is PMSing or on her period...u just egged her on....all ur fault u provoked it...

ya... its the hormone problems.

Its the main cause of the Bitchyness disease amoung females.

I snap at my husband in an awful way during that time of the month, and he's sensitive like you are, but he's learned to ignore me and not take it personally. I apologize when I catch myself, but sometimes I don't because my behavior seems normal to me. Hormones are a bear. Try to forgive your friend.

Well don't take her hiking when she has her period that's for sure! Don't you know it attracts Bears?

If you had periods you would understand... its really just something you should get past. When you're on your period its really just something that happens. She really doesn't need to apologize, you just need to be aware of that.

Ok picture this your lower stomach is cramping, aka muscles contracting, and tightening, then your entire stomach bloats, making it worse. Plus you feel icky. Your not going to be happy person are you?

Yes, she might have been wrong but realize it's not really her fault and kindly get over it.

I wouldn't worry about it--if she wouldn't act like that towards you at any other times of the month, I highly doubt she meant to do it. A lot of times things pop right out of our mouths that we don't mean when we are hormonal--often, we don't even realize we've said it, or because of the hormones it sounds normal to us. (My roommates and I are all on the same cycle so our poor male friends have to deal with it a lot, but we try to give them a heads up!). If you really feel the need to talk to her about it, make sure you do it when she isn't hormonal.
