Question: One of my friends have fat balls all over her hands....doctrs havesaid that it is LYPOMA and theSurgery isthe only CURE. but she want to know how many times she have to go forsurgey coz already she has gone for three surgeries for three fat balls on her hand...pls help! From what you have mentioned, I get the feeling that your friend is having the rare "familial hereditary lipomatosis" which has an autosomal dominant inheritance.
Different types of lipomatosis are found like :
pelvic lipomatosis,
cutaneous lipomatosis,
familial lipomatosis,
epidural lipomatosis,
familial lipomatosis etc etc.
I feel that, your friend should be shown to a "senior surgeon" in a reputed hospital, please. The surgeon should be informed about the earlier surgeries also.
Surgery may be done for cosmetic purposes, if the number of tumours are in small number.

There is no other cure but surgery.However it is weired why the surgeon had to do multiple surgeries!!
the best one u can ask is the surgeon himself.
Surgery is the cure at present for the same. I would suggest to contact a good plastic surgeon for the problem as no other medicine will help to cure this
