Well every one is different when they start. Most girls that just start use pads for as long as there comfortable. Then they try tampons. If your feel that your ready to use tampons you can if you want. Just one thing, have you told your mom the news? She might be of some service to you. Hope I helped

Had period for 4 years.

ya just in case you never knoe

I wonder how women put up with that stuff.

But, i would suggest a pad since you have to be young.

As long as there is a consistent flow to it, then I would use it if you're 100% comfortable using it.

how old are you? do what is ever comfortable for yourself. you can wear a tampon whenever.

Hon, this comes down to personal choice, do you have a trusted woman friend who you could ask? an Aunt, biology teacher, etc? ST from oHIO

yeah use it

yes, you can wear a tampon anytime you are having your period, just be sure you change it frequently. Don't ever wear one longer than 6 hours. Just change it. Also, a mini pad is nice to wear with a tampon, just in case there might be a little leakage.

Yes you should always be sanitary and wear a tampon. Try to avoid pads, because they just hold the fluids against your "parts" forming unsanitary conditions, which can sometimes result in fungal growth there. So try out the tampon, and have a very merry christmas!! Oh and you can trust me, i'm a woman, and a nurse myself.

Just got your first Christmas present, huh?

There is nothing wrong with using a tampon on a light day. It just makes it a bit harder to remove than ususal. Not hard, just harder. Just don't get tempted to keep it in any longer than 8-12 hours - max 1 day. Toxic Shock is bad news.

Sicne you just started out yeterday don't set yourself up for any bad surprises. Keep a pad and extra tampon in your bag and wear a pantyliner. Just in case.

Merry Christmas

you can use a tampon whatever day you have your period. if you are not comfortable wearing pads then just wear a tampon. both are disguisable but make sure you change regularly because with a pad you know when you need to change.

Well, using tampons aren't exactly a "normal" way of "dealing" with your period. In all actuality, there are many health complications that go with inserting cotton in your vagina. Menstrual pads can be healthier, but can smell and can feel funny or uncomfortable.

I suggest going to a gyn in regards to your irregular periods-it's not healthy and could mean other health issues.

How old are you? I would suggest that what ever feels good to you.

To not Use one may Complicate things such as a Laundry bill as well as a Jc penny bill Try my new slit ton Nor is it a tampon or maxi Pad it it's a slit tron sincerely Doctor Unoptrid.
