Question: Everyone says it hurts the first few times so why on earth try it in the first place? I don't get people sometimes. It's like they want to be in pain or something... And it's all probably not worth it anyway.

It only hurts if you are not really ready for it - ie, too young, body not mature enough to respond.
If you are a young teenager, can i just suggest that you wait until at least 17/18 and make sure it is with someone you REALLY know, trust & have feelings for, cos once your virginity is gone there is no going back, and you don't want to end up regretting it.

It isn't that painful especially if you are with someone you love and trust and are ready for it. It also helps to make sure you engage in foreplay to ensure you are moist or have some lube handy.
And if you think sex is going to be painful just image what if feels like when a baby comes.
Sex can be a great experience when you are emotionally and physically ready. No need to rush. When you are with the right person it can be almost a magical moment in your life.
I agree that the pain is a turn off about the whole thing. But once you found that one special person who you care most in the world, then you'll see that it's worth the pain.
well, no one wants to be hurt but pain like anything else is just a part of life and nature.
the point of doing it isn't for the pain and suffering of it, but pain out of love for someone special, and i think it's worth it.
if you live your whole life and never expeirence it just because you fear it, then i must say congrats for being truly pure. but is that all there is? to live without such an important expeirence of life. Of love, of procreation, live it to its fullest? what's the point?
and it's not so bad, if your guy really loves you and sensitive to your feelings. (my first time hurts. alot. and there was blood). just make sure it's what you want and you won't regret it...
ok you must be like 12 becuz yeah at first it hurts, but its a good kinda hurt, and it gets better... and its not disgusting if your doing it with someone you love, its disgusting if you sleep around yeah.. but sex is something very special that two people who are in love should share
Many people think of sex in many different ways. You and I might have different opinions on it. While others have the same exact opinion on what you say about how sex is disgusting. There was a group of people on 20/20 that were called asexuals and believed that sex wasn't needed in a relationship. Some people on the other hand feel like sex is needed for a relationship and its something to enjoy being togther. It all comes down to you being as an individual to determine whether you like or dislike sex. I bet many parents out there wished that their childern or teenagers would believe sex was disgusting like you do, so that not many girls out there would get prego.

sex is a very natural thing. also a very beautiful thing between to consenting adults. a girl will most probably experience some pain. the first time she as sex. or the second time. but it definitely gets better with experience.

at last, somebody your age not wanting to get it on! In future you will come to see that the pain is nothing and doesnt last and when with the right person sex is more than just a physical thing its about being close to somebody. if you choose to sleep round and not look after yourself then yeah thats dirty but if your in a relationship with someone who cares for you whats the probem. It only was a problem my first time, not the actual sex part (I was lubricated up), but afterwards the soreness from being stretched out. That lasted almost 2 days. After that there wasn't any problem.
it only hurts if your tense. well it might hurt a bit when your hymen breaks but apart from thats its fine. if your feel comfortable AND ARE COMPLEATLY READY it wont hurt
Sex hurts first time because your body is not use to it. Sex is a wonderful thing in many difference ways. It produces new life? You can hardly call it gross ^^? that how you were born love.
With your opinion its like saying to someone, why have an injection that prevents flu if the injection is going to hurt you. Or why have an operation, when there will be pain afterwards?
because.. the pain doesn't last forever.. your body will get use to it, just like it does with sex. It is a pleasure, loving act.
