Few morning after pill questions?!
Question: Hi, I'm using my friend's account, I just have a few questions....
last Saturday after me and my husband had sex, we realized the condom broke, so we went to the drugstore asap.....The pharmacist said to take the two plan B pills at the same time, so I got home and took the pills. The next day I started feeling the side effects, a little Nausea, heartburn and diarrhea. I've been feeling ill all week since I took the pills. I have heartburn and I'm constipated and I have diarrhea with gas and I have this weird feeling in my stomach like when your nervous and a little nauseous my friend said that my body wasn't use to the surge of hormones and since I'm suppose to be ovulating this week my body is retaliating since the pills stop this. And I have a few signs of PMS like my thighs are tingly and I'm really moody...also I took the pill the last day of my period (I had very mild spotting that morning) and I took the pills an hour after the condom broke.

You should be fine. The sooner you take them the more effective they are. It's ok to take both of the pills at once although I'm not sure if it'll be more effective either way. Don't sweat it. You wouldn't be getting those side effects so soon if you were pregnant. The spotting is probably from the pill. Merry Christmas
The sooner you take take the pills, the more likely they are to work. It is normal to feel these symptoms as well. However, I'm curious about taking the pills at the same time. In my experience, you take them 12 hours apart. You might want to look at the package and see if you made a mistake. If you did, your friend might be especially correct.

No your aren't pregnant, your friend is very correct. the hormones are just to much to handle for your body and its reacting, if you were pregnant you would not have symptoms yet also if I may ask did you have any alcohol recently?? this may have made you sick don't get offended that I ask that. Also since you took the pills the last day of your period you could not get pregnant because you would not be ovulating till this week like you mentioned, just relax, if you feel sick take some pepto and relax, your obviously stressing which is affecting your body as well...did you spot?? if you didn't you might just get your period the normal time, but expect your period to come a bit early so keep pads or tamps in your bag or it night be late, if its late DONT STRESS :) it will come and you took the pills sooo quickly so the semen didn't have time to implant that fast, its physically impossible don't worry hunn
